Effective: TODO: Effective date
By installing or using DocMate you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the app. TODO: replace with the final acceptance language required by the legal entity.
DocMate grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application on devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the rules of the Apple App Store.
You retain all rights to the documents you create, import, or process in DocMate. The app processes them only as described in the privacy policy and only on the basis of the actions you take.
You agree not to use DocMate to violate any law, to infringe any third-party right, or to process documents you do not have the right to handle. TODO: add any additional use restrictions required by the legal entity.
TODO: define subscription tiers, billing cycle, renewal behaviour, and cancellation procedure once pricing is finalised. Subscriptions, where offered, are processed by Apple under the App Store terms and can be managed from your Apple ID settings.
TODO: describe the “Restore Purchases” mechanism once subscriptions are introduced. Until then, no purchase history exists to restore.
DocMate may update the app and these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted inside the app and reflected in the “effective date” at the top of this page.
DocMate is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, except those that cannot be excluded under applicable law. TODO: confirm the warranty carve-out required by the legal entity.
TODO: replace with the limitation-of-liability clause required by the legal entity, consistent with the jurisdiction selected.
TODO: replace with the governing-law clause, forum, and any arbitration or consumer-rights carve-out once the legal entity is confirmed.
TODO: replace this placeholder with the official contact email and postal address of the legal entity.
