Permanently redact a PDF

A visible black mark is not enough. DocMate creates a new permanently redacted copy through its redaction publication workflow.

1. Use a fictional sensitive field while learning. Open the document in the supported review/redaction workflow.
2. Mark the content to redact and inspect the pending selections. These marks have not yet established a safe finished output.
3. Publish the permanent redacted copy using the app workflow. Keep the original separate.
4. Reopen the published copy and inspect the protected region. Check relevant selection, search and exported output before sharing. Confirm that you selected the redacted copy rather than the original.
